Rockies To Reach 60 Million Paid Fans On Friday

The Colorado Rockies will celebrate the organization's 60 millionth paid customer on Friday when the team hosts the Arizona Diamondbacks, according to a team press release.

In what will be 1,582 total games in Rockies history on Friday, the club would set a record for the fastest a Major League Baseball team has ever taken to notch 60,000,000 fans punching into a stadium.

The actual 60 millionth fan will be chosen randomly upon entering the gates, then will be introduced before the game and honored with VIP tickets for the contest, as well as 2013 Rockies season tickets along with other prizes and mementos.
