Olympic Games 2012 Daily Preview: David Herman Competes In Men's BMX During Busy Wednesday In London

Denver native David Herman will compete in the seeding round of men's BMX at the 2012 Summer Olympics on Wednesday in London. Herman is a 5-foot-8, 24-year old who finished fifth at the 2012 World Championships. He is one of three Americans in the field, along with Connor Fields and Nic Long.

The final of women's beach volleyball pitting two American teams against each other might be the main event of the day. Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh-Jennings will face April Ross and Jen Kessy.

It will also be a busy day in track and field, with medals set to be determined in women's long jump, women's 400 meter hurdles, women's 200 meter race and men's 110 meter hurdles.
