Russia Vs. Turkey Women's Basketball Final Score: Russia Moves On To Semifinal Round With 66-63 Win

Colorado State alum Becky Hammon and the Russian women's basketball team advanced to the semifinal round at the Olympics with a 66-63 win over Turkey on Tuesday.

Hammon led all Russian scorers with 19 points; she shot 7-16 from the field, hitting three three-pointers in the process. Hammon also dished out five assists and grabbed two rebounds.

Russia built a seven-point lead by the end of the first quarter and took a six-point advantage into the break, but Turkey rallied with a solid third quarter to tie things up. Russia edged ahead in the fourth, and with the help of some late free throws, held on for the win.

Russia will face either France or the Czech Republic in the semis.
