Willamette University alum Nick Symmonds will compete in the semifinals of the men's 800 meter race on Tuesday at the Olympics. Symmonds is slated to run in the second of three heats on the day. Diving semifinals and finals will also take place in the men's three meter springboard. Gynamastics medals will be up for grabs in the men's parallel bars, women's balance beam, men's horizontal bar and women's floor exercise, as well.
