Deutsche Bank Championship 2012 Update: Tiger Woods Atop The Leaderboard

The 2012 Deutsche Bank Championship is underway in Boston and after the first round of play, Tiger Woods and Jeff Overton find themselves atop the leaderboard at 7-under par.

Woods came out on fire as he birdied the first four holes on the front nine and finished with eight birdies and just one bogey on his first 18 holes. Overton, however, didn't get off to the same hot start on the front nine as he connected on just two birdies. But he finished the back nine strong with six birdies, five of them consecutively between the 12th and 16th holes.

But neither golfer has a comfortable lead as several golfers are still playing the course and could take the lead once round one is complete.

Ryan Moore and South Korea's Seung-Yul Noh are currently at 6-under par through 14 holes, while Chris Kirk is currently at 5-under par through 10 holes.
