The Colorado Avalanche released their 2012-13 schedule for nationally televised games Thursday, despite growing fears that failed collective bargaining agreement negotiations could lead to a lockout.

The Avalanche, coming off a 41-35-6 campaign in 2011-12, will play six of their 16 national TV games on the NBC Sports Network. They are set to open the season on the network Oct. 11 by playing host to the St. Louis Blues.

The other games that will be shown on the NBC Sports Network includes both home and away contests against the Dallas Stars on Jan. 14 and Jan. 23; a visit from the Boston Bruins on Feb. 4; a trip to Chicago to face the Blackhawks on March 6; and a road contest against the defending Stanley Cup champion Los Angeles Kings on March 11.

Colorado's full national TV schedule can be seen here.
