2012 USA Pro Challenge, Stage 2 Preview

Tyler Farrar took home the win after the first stage of the 2012 USA Pro Cycling Challenge, putting his team, Boulder-based Team Garmin-Sharp-Barracuda, in good shape right from the get-go. Stage Two of the winding race through Colorado is set to begin on Tuesday.

The ride from Montrose to Crested Butte will be one of the shortest rides of the race, only 99.2 miles from the start to the finish. Still, the incredibly windy path that is set should tax the riders with slight uphill climbs through most of the day and a hard two-mile climb near the end.

More info on Stage Two of the tournament can be found at the USA Pro Cycling Challenge's official site.

Coverage of the event will begin at 11:25 a.m. MT and is estimated to finish at some point around 3:50 p.m. Coverage can be found on the NBC Sports Network.
