Hendry Thomas Signing Made Official, According To Denver Post

It was assumed on Sunday night that the Colorado Rapids had signed former Wigan Athletic midfielder Hendry Thomas because of a couple of reports out of Honduras, but there was nothing from the American media that indicated it was true.

Now, it looks like the signing has been made official as many American outlets including the Denver Post have finally started releasing the story from team sources.

The Colorado Rapids moved to replace long-suffering captain Pablo Mastroeni by taking a risk on former English Premier League midfielder Hendry Thomas.

The club on Monday was waiting to finalize paperwork with Major League Soccer before announcing the signing of Thomas. Terms and dollar amounts of the deal were not available.

The team itself has not released any news on the story as of yet as they are getting through paperwork with the league, which handles all player transactions between the teams.
