The Colorado Rapids scored an early goal on Saturday night vs. FC Dallas, but they were unable to hold that lead into halftime, eventually falling 3-2. That early goal came from Jaime Alberto Castrillon in the 12th minute of Saturday night's game, but FC Dallas struck back late in the first half.
In the 41st minute, FC Dallas' Fabian Castillo tied the game at one. That was followed quickly by a goal in the 44th minute by Jair Benitez, who put Dallas up 2-1. That would be the scored heading into the half, but FC Dallas would add to that early in the second, when David Arturo Ferreira put the team up 3-1 in the 49th minute.
The Rapids would narrow that gap soon thereafter with a Jeff Larentowicz goal in the 55th minute, but the game would be a stalemate from there, with FC Dallas going home a 3-2 winner.
