Dwight Howard Trade Rumors: Josh McRoberts Could Be Heading To Nuggets, Accordig To Report

The Denver Nuggets are certainly going to receive Andre Iguodala from the Philadelphia 76ers once the proposed four-team trade for Dwight Howard gets done, but the Nuggets might also pick up a spare part from the Los Angeles Lakers in Josh McRoberts, according to Steve Kyler of Hoops World.

McRoberts, a 6-foot-10, 240-pound center/forward out of Duke, is basically filler for the Nuggets as he has an expiring contract worth $3.135 million in 2012-13. A five-year-veteran, McRoberts averaged 2.8 points and 3.4 rebounds during the 2012 season in 50 games. He wouldn't be much more than bench depth at power forward or center for the Nuggets.

Kenneth Faried is locked into the power forward positions and JaVale McGee is the starter at center. With Kosta Koufos and Timofey Mozgov also playing the front court, McRoberts wouldn't find much playing time.
