Peter Sagan, 22, has won his second stage in the 2012 Tour de France, capturing Stage 3 on Tuesday. This was his 15th overall win of the season. He won Stage 1 in Belgium on Sunday. Sagan finished the stage in 4:42:58.
The peloton was all placed at one second behind Sagan as a result of a crash coming down the final kilometer of the race.
Fabian Cancellara kept the yellow jersey and has posted a time of 14:45:30. He still holds a seven-second lead over Bradley Wiggins and Sylvain Chavanel. Garmin-Sharp's Ryder Hesjedal is still 18 seconds behind, but now he is in eighth place.
