2012 NCAA Baseball Tournament Scores: Florida Leads N.C. State, 5-0, During Rain Delay

The Florida Gators are close to securing a 1-0 series advantage in their Super Regional against the N.C. State Wolfpack, but a rain delay currently has this 2012 NCAA Baseball Tournament series stuck in the bottom of the seventh inning.

Former Colorado Rockies draft pick and current draftee of the Houston Astros Preston Tucker is on first base for the Gators after drawing a walk to start the inning. Tucker is 2-for-3 with two runs scored and an RBI. He singled in a run during the four-run third inning. The other three runs that inning scored on an error and a single. Tucker scored a second time on a Mike Zunino single in the fifth inning.

Florida starter Hudson Randall has limited the Wolfpack to six hits in seven shutout innings.
