2012 College World Series: Kent St.-South Carolina In Rain Delay

The 2012 College World Series is currently in a delay on Wednesday night, with the Kent St. Golden Flashes and the South Carolina Gamecocks waiting for the rain to pass on through -- pouring, though it is -- and then for the field to be prepped and ready to go. The last thing anyone wants is an unsafe playing field, but we also want to know which team will go on to play the Arkansas Razorbacks on Thursday.

There is no hard time yet for play to begin, but South Carolina has tweeted that play won't begin until at least 7:00 p.m. MT while ESPN's Keith Law says it's more likely to last until 7:30 p.m. MT.

Kent St. and South Carolina are both 1-1 in the College World Series and teetering on the brink of elimination. Can the Golden Flashes, a No. 3 regional seed, send the two-time defending CWS champions home on Wednesday night?
