2012 NCAA Baseball Tournament Results: Texas A&M's Ross Stripling Knocked Around By Ole Miss In 6-3 Loss

The Texas A&M Aggies were unable to book a trip to the regional finals at College Station, the portion of the 2012 NCAA Baseball Tournament bracket they are hosting. After defeating Dayton, 4-1, on Friday night, the Aggies fell to the Ole Miss Rebels on Saturday night, 6-3.

Ross Stripling, a 2011 Colorado Rockies draftee who returned to school for his senior season, was on the mound for the Aggies and was quite hittable for 7.2 innings. He allowed six runs on 11 hits and three walks. He did strike out 10 in the loss. The Ole Miss offense put up two runs each in the third, fourth and sixth innings.

The A&M defense committed three errors in the game.

The Aggies will play TCU on Sunday afternoon. Should they win, the Aggies will face Ole Miss on Sunday night. If they can win both games on Sunday a third game against Ole Miss will be on Monday.
