NCAA Baseball Tournament 2012, LSU Vs. Oregon St.: Game Time, TV Schedule And More

The No. 7 national seed and No. 1 seed in the Baton Rouge, La., regional LSU Tigers will take on the No. 2 seed Oregon St. Beavers on Saturday night for a trip to the title game for this section of the bracket. Both teams won their openers on Friday: the Beavers by squeaking by the No. 3 Belmont Bruins, 2-1, and the Tigers riding Aaron Nola's 10 strikeouts to a 4-1 victory over the No. 4 Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks.

On Saturday, the Tigers will have their ace on the mound, Colorado native Kevin Gausman. The draft-eligible sophomore went 10-1 with a 2.84 ERA and 125 strikeouts in 107.2 innings pitched. And be on the lookout for shortstop Austin Nola, who drove in two runs and was a 2008 Colorado Rockies draft pick.

The Beavers will have Dan Child on the mound to keep the Tigers down. He went 6-3 with a 2.75 ERA in 101.1 innings. He allowed 101 hits and struck out 78 batters.

The loser of this game enters the loser's bracket and will face the winner of the elimination game between Belmont and Louisiana-Monroe. That game takes place on Sunday afternoon before playing the nightcap against the 2-0 team on Sunday night. A potential Monday game awaits if the 2-0 team fails to go undefeated.

Game Date & Time: Saturday, June 2, 6:00 p.m. MT

Location: Alex Box Stadium, Baton Rouge, La.

TV/Radio: Cox Sports Television, WDGL 98.1 FM
