2012 US Open Leaderboard Update: Jim Furyk Is On Top, But There Are No Low Scores

The Olympic Club in San Francisco has proved to be a struggle for all of the participants at the 2012 U.S. Open, even the guys who are playing the best golf.

Jim Furyk and Nicolas Colsaerts are atop the leaderboard at this point on Day 3, after Furyk entered the day's action tied for the lead with Tiger Woods and David Toms.

What's happened to the leaderboard is something to behold. Woods is +2 for the day, dropping his tournament score to +3. He's still tied for 4th, though. With that score.

Graeme McDowell and Lee Westwood are in the hunt, with McDowell in 3rd place sporting +1 for the weekend. Westwood is tied with Ernie Els, Jason Dufner and Tiger, but he had a much more successful showing on Saturday. His 3-under par score for the day says as much.
