The 2012 U.S. Open cutline is expected to rise from where it was projected earlier this afternoon, with it now likely coming in at eight over par. Around 12 players are going to come in right at that score, with notable names like Rickie Fowler and Angel Cabrera just coming in under the line.
There are also a number of high-profile names who are going to miss the cut at the Olympic Club, including Luke Donald, who is currently the top ranked player in the world. Others who will miss the cut include reigning Masters champion Bubba Watson and defending U.S. Open champ Rory McIlroy. Watson finished the second round at +9, with Donald and McIlroy clocking in at a disappointing +11.
Colorado State grad Martin Laird will also miss the cut at +9.
