UCLA Vs. Stony Brook, 2012 CWS Score Update: UCLA Leads 8-1 In The 6th Inning

Stony Brook's 2012 College World Series debut has not gone well to this point, as the Seawolves got down early and have not been able to recover. The UCLA Bruins are in control as things stand right now, up 8-1.

The Bruins got off to a quick start and scored five runs in the bottom of the first inning. And while the Seawolves were able to settle down a bit from there, they haven't been able to mount a rally against Bruins starter Adam Plutko. Stony Brook got its lone run in the third.

UCLA, meanwhile, has only expanded on that first-inning lead. The Bruins added two runs in the third and one in the fifth.
