Preparations are intensifying at the Olympic Club in San Francisco, CA, which is the host of this year's U.S. Open. Much of the early-tournament attention figures to be heaped on the star-studded grouping of Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and Bubba Watson; but there's plenty of other groups to keep an eye on over the first two days. Rory McIlroy's group, which includes Lee Westwood and Luke Donald, is one of them.

Colorado State alum Martin Laird will begin his tournament on Thursday, June 14, at 3:13 p.m. MT. Laird will be playing the first two rounds with Ben Crane and Anders Hansen.
