Bolder Boulder 2012: Weather Forecast Looks Ideal For Race

The Bolder Boulder is being held on Monday May, 28. The 10K is unique among other marathons because it's the country's largest race in which all participants are timed. Last year, 54,000 runners participated. The good news for the 2012 edition is that the weather looks like it's going to be perfect.

Monday's Memorial Day forecast calls for a sunny day with a high of 70 degrees and winds blowing West at nine miles per hour. Given the high winds that have been in the Boulder area this weekend, the conditions appear absolutely ideal for the race.

Due to the massive nature of the race, runners are broken up in 92 different heats. There are six different categories of racers, from those who can run under 68 minutes to walkers and joggers.
