Luke Del Rio Recruiting: Oklahoma St. Makes Offer, Star QB Still Looking At Options

Valor Christian quarterback Luke Del Rio continues to emerge as one of the nation's most intriguing prospects at the position for next year's recruiting class, with teams showing increasing interest in bringing in the son of current Broncos defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio.

The quarterback recently spoke with reporters following the Columbus Elite 11 Regional and Nike Football Training Camp events, including Barton Simmons of 247sports.com:

I’m just happy to play college football. Not everyone gets to do that. If they show interest in me then I’m going to show interest back. If they’re serious then I’ll probably go to their one-day camp and if they’ve offered then I’ll take an unofficial visit. I’ll give each school the respect they deserve and go out there and check out their campus.

Del Rio listed Alabama as his dream school, while also bringing up USC and Florida given that his father played for the Trojans and he grew up in the sunshine state. After recently receiving a scholarship offer from Oklahoma State, the quarterback now has offers from OSU, Colorado State and Oregon State at the moment.
