Masters 2012 Leaderboard Update: Rory McIlroy Climbing Fast

Play continues in the 2012 Masters with the second round underway on Friday. Lee Westwood and Peter Hanson are still on top, each at 5-under. Tiger Woods is scheduled to take the course later on Friday afternoon, and Rory McIlroy is climbing quickly with a strong second round.

McIlroy is at 4-under through seven holes in the second round. He has birdies on holes three, four and seven, and is 3-under on the day so far.

Woods is scheduled to tee of at 1:40 p.m. Eastern.

Martin Laird, formerly of Colorado State, shot a 72 in the second round on Friday, and sits at 4-over after two rounds of play.

Denver resident Craig Stadler is at 4-over after seven holes in the second round, 13-over for the tournament.
