Craig Stadler entered the 2012 Masters with the longest odds of any golfer to win this tournament, opening at 5000/1. Those odds, according to Bovada, didn't change as play got underway on Thursday morning. Through the first 10 holes of the day, Stadler sits at 6-over, two strokes behind the nearest golfer. He sits in dead last just a few hours into the tournament.
He bogeyed hole No. 1 and then made par on Nos. 2 and 3, but Nos. 4-7 all resulted in bogeys. He stayed at 5-over after making par on hole No. 8, but he needed five strokes to get through the par-4 ninth hole. He then parred hole No. 10.
Martin Laird, who starts later on Thursday, is a 150/1 favorite. All things considered, Laird should definitely make the cut.
