Nuggets Vs. Kings Preview: Denver Looks For 4th Straight Win

The Denver Nuggets host the Sacramento Kings tonight at the Pepsi Center.

The Denver Nuggets are starting to get healthy, and the return of lineup stalwarts like point guard Ty Lawson and reserve big man Chris Andersen means George Karl's crew could be looking at a big March. Denver is off to a good start already: they've won three straight games, including last night's 99-94 victory in San Antonio over the Spurs. Lawson thrived, ending the game with 22 points, 11 assists and nine rebounds. Tonight against the Sacramento Kings, Denver looks to keep the good times rolling.

Sacramento has dropped three straight is just 2-9 in their last 11 games. The matchup amounts to something of a perfect storm for the Nuggets: Denver enters with the league's highest points per game average (103.7); the Kings give up more points than anyone (102.3). Monday night's game should be a shootout, with each offense looking to push the tempo and stockpile points.

Game date/time: 7:00 PM, Monday, March 5

Location: Pepsi Center
