The Northern Colorado Bears were on a rough start in the Big Sky conference and were looking for revenge against the Montana Grizzlies after losing 76-58 in Montana earlier this year. That revenge wouldn't come however as Montana led 36-35 at halftime and built on that lead in the second half to walk away with a 75-68 victory thanks in part to Grizzlies guard Will Cherry's 12 point night.
Northern Colorado was able to hang tough by going down just a single point at halftime, but just couldn't keep up in the second half. Mike Proctor and Tate Unruh led the way for the Bears as they both scored 11 points on the night. With the loss, Northern Colorado falls to 4-17 overall and 4-8 in the Big Sky conference, while Montana improves to 11-1 in conference play.
