Luke Del Rio Recruiting: High School QB's Transfer Choice Down To 2 Schools, According To Report

The Denver Broncos picked up a defensive coordinator in Jack Del Rio a little over a week ago, but the Colorado high school football scene also picked up Jack's kid, Luke, a soon-to-be highly-sough quarterback recruit. Luke and the rest of the Del Rio family are moving with Jack to Denver, and Luke is close to choosing a school, according to Lindsay Jones of the Denver Post.

Del Rio is reportedly choosing between Cherry Creek and private school at Valor Christian. At Valor Christian, Jones writes, Del Rio would be able to play with the sons of Ed McCaffrey and Brian Dawkins, Christian and Brian Jr.

With his father's background as a coach and a former NFL player, Luke is likely to become a top target for schools around the country. Already he has received interest from schools in the Southeast. His father played for the USC Trojans, which has led to speculation that he could also be recruited to there.
