2012 Super Bowl Line And Odds: Patriots Looking At Field Goal Advantage

There's been no movement on the odds line for the 2012 Super Bowl in the final days leading up to the event. The New England Patriots opened as 3.5 point favorites and after that the lines settled at either 2.5 to 3 points, according to our odds partner Odds Shark. This is going to be a close game, and when the two teams met in Super Bowl XLII, the Giants pulled out a 17-14 victory.

The over/under for the game opened at 55 points and has moved down to 53.5 to 54 points, depending on the odds maker. Both teams certainly have the strong aerial attacks that will go up against passing defenses that are near the bottom of the league in terms of yards allowed per game. But the defenders will certainly be pumped up to do even better than their best in the big game.
