Tonight at the Pepsi Center, Denver trails the Timberwolves 30-18 after the first quarter.
Minnesota is being led by big man Nikola Pekovic, who ends the first quarter with seven points and seven rebounds (including six offensive boards). Minnesota's starting backcourt of Ricky Rubio and Luke Ridnour each have six points.
Three Denver starters -- Timofey Mozgov, Arron Afflalo, and Ty Lawson -- have four points. Mozgov ended the first quarter with four turnovers.
Both teams are shooting 40 percent from the field.
