The scoring has picked up after a slow first period, and the Winnipeg Jets have claimed a 3-1 lead on the Colorado Avalanche.

Evander Kane got the scoring started for the Jets with a goal less than two minutes into the second -- it was his 22nd tally of the season. Bryan Little followed that up less than two minutes later with his 17 goal of the season to give the Jets a 2-0 cushion.
Gabriel Landeskog answered with a power play goal to bring the Avalanche back within one, but Kyle Wellwood made the score 3-1 in Winnipeg's favor shortly thereafter.
