Colorado State Vs. UNLV Final Score: No. 13 Rebels Run Rams Out Of The Gym

The Colorado State Rams were riding high after an upset victory over No. 12 San Diego State on Saturday, but the team would have no such magic tonight against No. 13 UNLV. The Rebels dominated each half en route to a 83-63 victory at the Thomas & Mack Center. The win improves UNLV to 21-3 overall and 5-1 in the Mountain West, while Colorado State falls to 14-7, 3-3.

Colorado State did pull within two points midway through the second half after starting the session on a 11-0 run. UNLV would quickly respond with a 15-4 run of their own to secure the win.

Oscar Bellfield and Chace Stanback each finished with 16 points for the Rebels. Mike Moser added 13 points and eight rebounds for UNLV. Teammate Anthony Marshall also added 13 points.

Colorado State was led by Wes Eikmeier, who scored a team-high 18 points. Dorian Green scored 15 and Greg Smith scored 13 for Colorado State in the loss.
