Nuggets vs. Mavericks results: Denver picks up a road victory in Dallas

The Denver Nuggets picked up their second straight win on Sunday night with a 106-85 victory over the Dallas Mavericks

The Denver Nuggets picked up their second straight victory on Friday, as they traveled to the American Airlines Center and beat the Dallas Mavericks, 106-85.

The Nuggets jumped out to a quick 29-18 lead after the first quarter, but the Mavericks cut into the lead in the second quarter, trailing by six at half. Denver buried the Mavericks in the second half, outscoring Dallas by 13 over the final two quarters.

Danilo Gallinari led all scorers with 39 points, shooting 14-23 from the floor and 7-11 from behind the three-point line. Andre Iguodala had an efficent scoring night, scoring 20 points while sinking seven of his 12 shots from the field. Kenneth Faried scored 11 points and grabbed 19 rebounds, while Ty Lawson and Andre Miller each added 11 points as the Nuggets improved to 17-14 on the season.

O.J. Mayo led the Mavericks with 15 points, but only shot 6-13 from the field. Chris Kaman had 12 points for the Mavericks, while Darren Collison and Vince Carter each had 10.
