Although the Denver Broncos are preparing for a playoff run, it's never too early to think about the NFL Draft. A pair of draft experts at CBS Sports have released their latest mock drafts on Wednesday, and the pair have Denver going in different directions with their first-round pick.
Rob Rang has the Broncos focusing on defense with their pick, by taking defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd from Florida. Rang cites the fact that the Broncos have three defensive tackles hitting free agency after 2012, and Floyd is a quick player on the inside that will complement Denver's outside rushers.
Fellow analyst Dane Brugler has the team going in a different direction, taking Notre Dame tight end Tyler Eifert. Brugler feels that the team could use weapons to help Peyton Manning, and that the Broncos currently lack a playmaking tight end. He has Floyd going to the Seattle Seahawks at No. 26.
