Northern Colorado vs. North Dakota final score: Bears win 75-66

The Bears capped an impressive comeback, defeating North Dakota in the closing minutes after trailing by 18.

After blowing a first-half lead and trailing by as many as 18 in the second half, the Northern Colorado Bears mounted a second-half comeback to defeat the University of North Dakota 75-66. The Bears led by 9 early in the first half, but had allowed North Dakota back into the game by halftime, and trailed 34-30 at the break.

North Dakota continued their momentum into the second half, building an 18-point lead with 10 minutes remaining in the second half. The Bears rallied an impressive comeback, capped by back to back threes from junior guard Tate Unruh with just over two minutes left in the game. From there the Bears held on and closed out the victory.

Unruh finished with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Derrick Barden led the Bears with 20 points, going 9-10 from the field. Tevin Svihovec also chipped in 19 points.

North Dakota was led by Aaron Anderson and Mitch Wilmer. Anderson finished with 18 points, while Wilmer contributed 15 points, five rebounds and three steals.
