Former North Central Conference rivals face off on Friday when the Northern Colorado Bears travel to face North Dakota.

The Northern Colorado Bears will play their first game in Big Sky conference play tonight as they travel to the Betty Engelstad Sioux Center to take on North Dakota.

North Dakota is 2-7 on the season, and has already played one game in conference play, losing 79-67 to the Southern Utah Thunderbirds on Monday.

North Dakota struggles to take care of the ball, as they average 14 turnovers to only 11 assists per game. The Bears should look to create turnovers on the defensive end, which should led to some easy points on the offensive end.

North Dakota likes to shoot a lot of three-pointers, averaging 19 attempts per game. The team is only shooting 35 percent on those attempts, which has limited their offensive firepower.

The home team has yet to find a consistent rotation this season, with 10 players averaging at least 15 minutes in games played.

Game Time: Friday, Dec 21; 6:05 p.m. MT

Location: Betty Engelstad Sioux Center; Grand Forks, N.D.
