2012 Bowl Games: Boise State to play in Las Vegas Bowl

The Boise State Broncos are headed to the Las Vegas Bowl to face Washington.

No. 19 Boise State is headed to the Maaco Bowl Las Vegas, taking on Washington (7-5, 5-4 Pac-12) on Dec. 22 at 1:30 p.m. MT. The Broncos finished the season with 10 wins yet dropped their only game against a ranked opponent in a 17-13 loss to Michigan State. Quarterback Keth Price leads the Washington offense with 2,486 yards passing and 18 touchdowns on the year.

Air Force will be playing the Rice Owls in the Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl on Dec. 29, finishing the season No. 4 in the MWC with a 6-6 record on the year. The Falcons offense is led by quarterback Connor Dietz, who passed for 1,127 yards and right touchdowns while rushing for nine touchdowns and 1,213 yards on 191 carries.

The Famous Idaho Potato Bowl will feature Utah State taking on Toledo on Dec. 15 at 2:30 p.m. MT. The Aggies won six straight to finish the season, No. 1 in the MWC with a 10-2 record overall. Utah possesses once of the stingiest defenses in the NCAA and lost both games by five combined points.
