Russ Isabella-US PRESSWIRE

The Utah State Aggies are making a return trip to Boise, Idaho to take part in the 2012 edition of the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl. Last year they were shocked by Ohio who won on a fourth quarter touchdown' this year they will be going up against the Toledo Rockets, another MAC team.

Utah State is coming off one of their best regular seasons ever by winning the WAC, ranked No. 22 in the BCS and finished the season with a 10-2 record.

Heading into this game, their only loses have come against Wisconsin and BYU, both of which where winnable games if the Aggies had a reliable kicker. That BYU game is Utah State's last loss which occurred on Oct. 5, and they are riding a six-game winning streak.

A look at Utah State's depth chart || Toledo needs to impress

Utah State is led by a stout defense that is ranked 15th in the country and controlled the line of scrimmage in nearly every game this year, and that includes the beefy front at Wisconsin. Defensive back Will Davis is key to their success, he was recently named to SI.com's and CBSSports.com All-America team this past week.

Offensively for Utah State it is quarterback Chuckie Keaton as well as running back Kerwynn Williams. Williams was also named an All-American by Sports Illustrated. With 1,277 rushing yards, Williams led the WAC, he also scored 17 touchdowns, including 12 on the ground.

Keaton is a playmaker who can extend plays with his legs and he may not have a lot of designed runs, but he will move the pocket and find an open receiver. He threw for 3,144 yards and 27 touchdowns this season.

Toledo is a typical MAC team that is capable of scoring a lot of points, this year they averaged 32.9 points per game. Injuries could be the difference in this game, Toledo is hoping to get starting running back David Fluellen who has rushed for 1,460 yards, but he sat out the season finale against Akron with an ankle injury.

Starting quarterback Terrance Owens also had an ankle injury which forced him to sit out the Akron game. Owens could see some playing time on Saturday, and at the very least will split time with Austin Dantin. Dantin did impress against Akron by throwing for 327 yards and five touchdowns.
