The Utah State Aggies are heading back to the the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl for the second straight year and will be taking on the Toledo Rockets, who finished 9-3 in the MAC. Utah State is the WAC champion, finishing 6-0 in league play and 10-2 overall. The Aggies head into this weekend's game as a nine-point favorite over the Rockets.
Utah State is also riding a six-game winning streak and has not suffered a loss since they fell to BYU, 6-3, back on Oct. 5. As for Toledo, they have lost two out of their last three games, but both loses came by a mere seven points in each game.
The key players on Utah State are running back Kerwynn Williams and defensive back Will Davis. Both players were recently named to SI.com's All-America team as an honorable selection choice.
Toledo will likely be playing two quarterbacks in this game as starter Terrance Owens suffered an injury against Northern Illinois and sat out the team's season finale. Owens will split time with Austin Dantin. In Dantin's start in the final game of the season against Akron, he threw for 327 yards and five touchdowns, so he is a capable of leading the Rockets.
