The five game east coat road trip comes to an end on Wednesday night for the Denver Nuggets. So far Denver is 1-2 on the trip with a tight win at Indiana on Friday sandwiched in between losses at Atlanta and New York. Those losses have dropped Denver to 10-11 at the season's quarter pole, but this week offers a chance to make up some of that lost ground.
Denver played Tuesday night at Detroit, who has struggled to a 7-15 start so far. The Pistons are one of the league's lowest scoring teams at only 94.2 points per game, which is well behind Denver's own 100.4 points per game.
The road trip concludes Wednesday evening with a trip to Minnesota to face the Timberwolves. This is the only game against a Western Conference team on this trip, and Minnesota's 9-9 record has them in the thick of the Western Conference playoff race with Denver.
