SB Nation's very early preseason bracketology predictions are out, and plenty of regional teams are included in Chris Dobbertean's first projections of the 68-team field.
From the Pac-12, California, Stanford, UCLA and Arizona are in the bracket. The Golden Bears are getting the eighth seed in the East region, the Cardinal got the ninth seed in the West region, the fourth seed in the South region went to the Bruins, and the Wildcats were projected as the third seed in the West.
The Mountain West Conference got two bids with San Diego State and UNLV. The Aztecs were predicted to grab the fifth seed in the East, while the Runnin' Rebels were slotted for the fifth seed in the South.
The Big Sky and Western Athletic Conference each received a bid apiece, with the Montana Grizzlies representing the Big Sky as the 15th seed in the East and the Utah State Aggies getting the 14th seed in the South out of the WAC.
Colorado State was listed among the "Last Four Out," while the Colorado Buffaloes were included on the "Also considered" list.
