The Denver Broncos had no trouble in the fourth quarter putting aside the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 9 NFL action, and their win kept them at the top of the AFC West for yet another week. The upstart Broncos look like the favorites to win the division through nine weeks of play, one game ahead of the San Diego Chargers, who took down Kansas City on Thursday night but have not won a game against a team that wasn't the Chiefs in several weeks.
The Oakland Raiders are currently in third place in the division following their loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but are still doing far better than the Chiefs right now. Kansas City still has yet to hold a lead in a game this year and lost their seventh game of 2012 to the Chargers during the week.
Here are the full standings for the AFC West following Week 9 action:
Denver Broncos | 5-3 |
San Diego Chargers | 4-4 |
Oakland Raiders | 3-5 |
Kansas City Chiefs | 1-7 |
