2012 Mountain West football standings: Air Force tied for 3rd place

The Air Force Falcons lost a non-conference game to Army and are tied for third place in the MWC.

The Air Force Falcons dropped a non-conference game against Army, 41-21, on Saturday. At 5-4 overall and 4-1 in conference play, Air Force is tied with Boise State for third place in the Mountain West Conference standings.

The Broncos (7-2, 4-1 MWC) lost their first conference game of the season in Week 9, falling to San Diego State, 21-19. The Aztecs (7-3, 5-1) moved into a tie with Fresno State for first place in the conference. The Bulldogs (7-3, 5-1) defeated Hawaii (1-7, 0-5), 45-10, on Saturday

The Bulldogs hold the head-to-head tiebreaker against the Aztecs. Fresno State knocked off San Diego State, 52-40, on Sept. 29.

Wyoming (2-7, 1-4) won its first conference game of the season, claiming a 45-31 victory over Colorado State (2-7, 1-4). UNLV (2-8, 2-3) defeated New Mexico (4-6, 1-4), 35-7.
