No. 23 rated Colorado put its undefeated record on the line Sunday night in a cross-state rivalry game with undefeated Air Force and came out unscathed. The Buffaloes led by only two at halftime but rolled to an 89-74 win over the Falcons behind 20 points from Josh Scott.
A total of four players for the Buffaloes finished the night in double figures. Andre Robinson added 18 points while Askia Booker and Spencer Dinwiddie each had 15 points. Robinson was effective on the glass with 13 rebounds to finish the night with a double-double for Colorado.
Air Force has a solid night from Michael Lyons who led them with 20 points while Todd Fletcher had 18 points. Air Force (5-1) had gotten off to a nice 5-0 start on the season, but were unable to keep pace in their first major test of the regular season.
Colorado moved to 5-0 in its first game after winning the Charleston Classic.
