The Denver Pioneers hope to pick up their second win of the season when they welcome the California Golden Bears to Magness Arena.
Cal is 2-0 on the season with victories over the Cal State Bakersfield Roadrunners and the Pepperdine Waves. The Golden Bears played both those games at home, so this shall serve as their first road test of the season.
The team's scoring is very top-heavy, with two players accounting for two-thirds of Cal's points so far this season. Junior guard Allen Crabbe leads the team with 30.0 points-per-game, as well as 4.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists. Junior guard Justin Cobbs is second on the team in scoring, averaging 22.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game.
Junior forward Richard Solomon is the team's top-scoring bigman, averaging 7.0 points and 7.5 rebounds per-game. Sophomore forward David Kravish plays strong defense for Cal, averaging eight rebounds and two blocks per game.
