Despite going 1-3 at the SoCal Tournament, the Air Force Falcons were able to move up one spot in the latest CWPA polls to No. 13. The reason for the climb is that Air Force defeated UC Davis who was No. 12 at the time. This is the highest that Air Force has been ranked in years.
The entire poll had a shakeup as nine of the top 10 teams changed spots after some upsets at the SoCal Tournament, but the USC Trojans stay the No. 1 team in the land stays the same for the fifth straight week. Of the WWPA teams, Air Force is third in line behind Loyola Marymount and UC San Diego.
