The Air Force Falcons picked up their third WWPA player of the week award, senior attacker Brad Rajchel became the latest Falcon to take home the award. Rajchel earned the award after his team-high four goals in Air Force's 15-11 win over UC Davis last Saturday.
The four goals that Rajchel scored all came in the first half against UC Davis, and his four goals, and three in the second period, were a key reason to why Air Force raced out to an early lead en route to getting the win over UC Davis.
This is Rajchel's first player of the week award that he has earned, the prior winners attacker Josh Steadman the week of Sept. 12 and the other was goalie Mike Fish who won the award the week of Sept. 19.
Air Force is now 7-2 in the WWPA, and head on the road this weekend to face UC San Diego on Oct. 18, and then playing at The Rodeo, hosted by Santa Clara on Oct. 20-21.
