The Colorado Buffaloes added another commitment to their 2013 basketball recruiting class in 6'5 wing, Tre'shaun Lexing. The Tacoma, Wash. native joins 6'5 guard Jaron Hopkins and 6'8 forward Dustin Thomas in the Buffs' 2013 class, put together by head coach Tad Boyle. Lexing, a three-star prospect according to Rivals, chose Colorado over Arizona State, UCLA and Washington State.

Boyle said that one of the keys to basketball recruiting at a school like Colorado is having a great atmosphere at football games:

"Having a festive Saturday afternoon football atmosphere is contagious. The fans don't realize how great the atmosphere that they create is. I love when Coors is packed with 11,000 people. But to me, you can't beat a Saturday afternoon college football game in the fall. That's what college is all about. I challenge our fans to continue that."

Colorado football fans haven't had much to cheer about this year, but Boyle and the basketball program are looking like a good bet to continue their growth in Boyle's third year in Boulder.
