The Colorado Buffaloes are off the strong start early in Pac-12 play, and their 71-60 win over Washington State on Saturday improved their record to 11-4 (3-0 Pac-12). An 18 point win over Washington turned heads on Thursday, and the Buffs carried that momentum into the game against the Cougars. Colorado led by as many as 22 points in the second half, and Carlon Brown scored a career-high 28 points.
Colorado State also picked up a win over the weekend, though it was of the non-conference variety: the Rams beat Nebraska-Omaha, 87-63. The Rams had a double digit lead at halftime and never really had much to worry about. Dorian Green led' crew with 21 points.
