The Washington Huskies appear to have made a great pickup in Mullen (CO) High School quarterback Cyler Miles based on how he performed in the 2012 U.S. Army All-American Bowl on Saturday. Miles was 6-of-6 passing for the day and had several impressive throws. He completed a 3rd-and-38 pass to Dorial Green-Beckham for a touchdown. Making it more impressive was that Green-Beckham made an amazing one-handed grab to haul it in.
Miles also had a rushing touchdown in the first quarter to open up the scoring, but he also had a passing touchdown (to Dre Williams) called back due to a penalty.
Miles will need to wait at least a year to plat for the Huskies. While he certainly could play as a freshman, redshirting is an option with Keith Price just a redshirt junior for the 2012 season.
