Nuggets Vs. Kings Score Update: Denver Leads The Kings By 10 After One

The Denver Nuggets are undefeated at home and looking to improve their record to 5-2 overall, and so far, they're off to a good start against the Sacramento Kings. Denver leads 27-17 after the first quarter on Wednesday at the Pepsi Center. Sacramento has shot just 6-for-23 (26.1 percent) from the field.

Again without star center Nene, the Nuggets are starting both Timofey Mozgov and Kosta Koufos tonight. So far, so good. Mozgov leads all Denver scorers with six points, while Koufos has four points on 2-of-3 shooting. Arron Afflalo has five points and hit Denver's only three-pointer.

The Kings were led by shooting guard Marcus Thornton in the first, who scored a game-high eight points on 3-of-7 shooting. DeMarcus Cousins, who demanded a trade earlier in the week, has played six minutes and has not scored.
