Alex Kozan Commits To Iowa, According To Report

The Iowa Hawkeyes picked up one of Colorado's remaining four-star offensive linemen with the verbal commitment of Valor Christian High School guard Alex Kozan on Sunday night, according to Sam Webb of multiple Detroit news outlets. Kozan had narrowed his choices down to Iowa, Michigan and Auburn. Shane Callahan of Chaparral High School in Parker, CO, had committed to Auburn earlier and is an early enrollee.

According to Rivals.com, Kozan is the No. 5 prospect from Colorado and No. 12 at his position. He had 25 offers, according to Rivals, and Colorado and Colorado State were among those schools.

Ohio State, where Windsor (CO) guard Joey O'Connor committed to, was the only other school that he visited during the recruiting process. But that was in early November before Urban Meyer took over. He eliminated the school after that.
